About The Artist

Who is Nithilan?

Nithilan is a 22 year old specially talented artist on the Autism Spectrum, graduated high school from Adlai E.Stevenson High school, Lincolnshire, Illinois in May 2020. During high school years, he learned formal Drawing and Painting and also won a First Place in school art show under special category.   

Nithilan started drawing and painting when he was 6 years old. Since then, Art has been his number one passion. He’s been working on Ink/pencil drawings, landscape/abstract paintings and exploring neuro-graphic drawings. He loves to work with bright and vibrant colors by using various tools and techniques.

Nithilan enjoys singing, playing piano and riding bike. His favorite sports are Allied Soccer, Allied Bowling and Swimming. Currently, Nithilan enthusiastically learns his mother tongue Tamil and Carnatic music though it's hard for him.

Nithilan is a proud 2024 graduate of Exceptional Learners Collaborative (ELC), Illinois.
